Today's Class - I {Heart} Hearts

Afternoon all,

Hope you're having a good weekend and my eariler sneak peeks made you want to come back to see what the ladies have been making in my Stampin' Up! Class earlier today :)

Seeing as next month is February and Valentine's Day, I thought we would start the new year with a "love" themed class and make a couple of cards appropriate for some loved ones.

Both cards christen the stamp set I {Heart} Hearts which is lovely and co-ordinates nicely with three different heart punches. The first card is the easel style card, a technique that I did back in November 09 with the ladies and the second card christens the lovely Poppy Parade In Color products and the Heart Treat Cups along with the much loved Scallop Trim Corner Punch :)

So, without further ado, here are the two cards made today with the ladies:

I {Heart} Hearts - Easel Card


Stamps: I {Heart} Hearts (P.18) and Heard From The Heart (P.74).
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla.
Inkpad: Early Espresso and Riding Hood Red.
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Bone Folder, Paper Snips and 3D dimensionals.
Card Size: A6.

Cardstock: In Color: Poppy Parade, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White. Designer Series Paper - In Color: Poppy Parade.
Inkpad: In Color: Poppy Parade and Pink Pirouette.
Accessories: Full Heart Extra-Large Punch, Scallop Trim Corner Punch, Round Tab Punch, Scallop Oval Extra-Large Punch, Oval Punch, In Color: 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon: Poppy Parade, Heart Treat Cups, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Bone Folder, Paper Snips and Stampin' Dimensionals.
Card Size: A6.

Hope you're having a good Sunday so far :) Recently been commissioned to make a 3rd birthday card for a little boy and knew just the card to make. Really enjoyed stamping up these trains and animals and cutting them all out. Here's the card below for Jack:
