It's finally the summer holidays and I have my nephew here for a few weeks. Finley couldn't wait to make a birthday card for Nanny so we got crafting yesterday afternoon :)

Finley chose the colours all by himself and managed to use the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig pretty good too! Here's the card he made with a little help by me:

Here's the card Finley made for Nanny.

Happy Friday!

Hi all,

Hope you've had a good week and looking forward to the weekend :)

Wanted to use my much neglected "All In The Family" stamp set and after having a look online I was inspired by cutiepiecards, so decided to CASE this.

I decided to add a tree in the background using another neglected stamp set from the Mini Catalogue called "Forest Friends" with my Stampin' Write Markers. I also made some grass by snipping the Certainly Celery cardstock vertically and added matching Certainly Celery poly-twill ribbbon (the ribbon that's offered in my Blog Candy). Lastly used my new "Choo Choo" stamp set to add some clouds to the card with 3D Dimensionals.

Here's the finished card:

Stamps: All In The Family, Forest Friends and Choo Choo.
Cardstock:
Ballet Blue, Real Red, Whisper White and Certainly Celery.
Ink Pad: Basic Grey and Bashful Blue.
Accessories:
Stampin' Write Markers - Chocolate Chip, Garden Green, Blush Blossom and Ballet Blue. Certainly Celery Poly-Twill Ribbon. Large Tag Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, 3D Dimensionals and Bone Folder.

Card Size: A6.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Please feel free to leave me a comment if you have time.

Have a great weekend and be back later tomorrow to reveal my Workshop cards.

Bye for now,

Alex

Granddaughter Commission

Hi all,

Hope you're well and looking forward to Friday :) Thought after my earlier sneak peek of the Confirmation Cards, you'd like to see another commission that I can now reveal. A number of invitations and purse boxes along with a large A5 card was commissioned by a lady who's celebrating her special Granddaughter's birthday this month.

Hope it was worth the wait!

Long Weekend

Hi all,

Hope you're all having a lovely long Easter weekend. Been cardmaking all day today making a few cards and samples to add to my collection.

Loving the tutorial that Carole put on her blog recently, so after making a Father's Day Gift Wallet yesterday, thought I'd make a Christmas one today.

Christmas - Perfect Presents - Outside

Christmas - Perfect Presents - Inside

Next I decided to follow Monica's instructions on making invitations and came up with the following examples christening new stamp sets I've recently bought since becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Invitation - Baby Announcement

Invitation - Girl's Birthday

Invitation - Boy's Birthday

Hope you had fun today and I'll be back tomorrow with more creations.

Bye for now,

Alex
