Happy 40th Birthday

Morning all,

Hope your week is going well and you're getting used to the dark mornings and the nights drawing in.

Recently was asked to make a birthday card for a daughter celebrating her 40th birthday and seeing as it was on Monday, I think it's safe to post here now. This is what I came up with after being told a few things she'd like:

Accessories: 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Real Red, 2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds, Bone Folder, Paper Snips and 3D Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy your day.

Happy 40th Birthday

Morning everyone,

Okay, so it's Saturday and someone special's birthday today - so I'm back with the card :) To celebrate her big 4-0, she's having a party this evening with the theme of black and white, so I thought I'd make a card to compliment her colour scheme and just had to open up my new Speciality Papers just for her. Below is the card I made that she hopefully will receive this morning.

Speciality Paper - Groom Card

Close Up - Sparkly Numbers

These numbers have been stamped with the En Francais background stamp and heat embossed with Clear embossing powder. The edges have been edged with the 2-Way Glue Pen and covered with Dazzling Diamonds.

Sneak Peek - Speciality Paper.

Hi all,

Well not long to go till the 1 October now :) It's so exciting and I've been flicking through my real copy of the Catalogue trying to learn all the new colours.

Haven't been making much recently with current Stampin' Up! goodies as I've been making things with products from the new Catalogue that I can't showcase yet. However, yesterday I made a birthday card for someone celebrating her 40th soon with current stash. I opened my brand new pack of Speciality Papers - Groom that I recently bought off the Last Chance List. WOW: I just love this paper, it's unbelievably thick and really worth the money. I didn't think I would find a use for black cardstock, but wow, I'm pleased I bought it :)

Anyway, I had a lovely play last night and am really pleased with the results. Until Saturday, I won't reveal the card, but I'll show a sneak peek below:

Sneak Peek

Pop back on Saturday to see the card in full. Until then, have a good day and be back soon.

Bye for now,

Alex
