Today's Stampin' Up! Class - 31 March 2012

Today was April's Stampin' Up! Class (a week early due to Easter weekend next weekend). The ladies made two cards using the Trendy Trees stamp set that we briefly used last class for the carrots, see here.

Card 1

Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Poppy Parade, Elegant Eggplant and More Mustard.

Card Size: 4-1/8" x 4-1/8".

Card 2 - Cascading Card


Stamps: Trendy Trees (P.60) and Very Vintage (Jumbo Wheel, P.75).
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Early Espresso and Whisper White. DSP - Brights Collection.
Inkpad: Early Espresso, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Garden Green and Always Artichoke.
Accessories: Decorative Lable Punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, SU Bone Folder.
Card Size: 6" x 3" (flat).

Stampin' Up! Class Today

Hi all,

Had a lovely class with my ladies this morning, preparing a few goodies for Easter using the Top Note Die for the cute bunny and Trendy Trees for the carrots! Today the ladies made a side step card and a matching box to fill with chocolate goodies inside.

Accessories: Bigz Dies - Top Note Die, Extra Large Oval Punch (2" x 1-3/8"), Large Oval Punch (1-3/4" x 7/8"), Scallop Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Heart To Heart Punch, Taffeta Ribbon - Marina Mist and Old Olive, Paper Snips, SU Bone Folder, Sticky Strip, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals.

Trendy Trees - Thanks So Much.

Hi all,

Recently been attending a lovely craft group and got to play with their Stampin' Up! stash that they've acquired through my Workshops :) Decided to stamp up "Trendy Trees" as it's a stamp set I'm eagerly awaiting to buy this weekend, so thought I'd make a small card with some of the images I stamped up the other day.

Trendy Trees


The cardstock base looked a bit bare, so decided to use a stamp from "Seeing Spots" stamp set as it was a close match to the style from "Trendy Trees". I versamarked this on the base cardstock to create a watermark background. If I had the Trendy Trees stamp set, I would have done this with the circular stamp from this set.

Stamps: Trendy Trees and Seeing Spots.
Cardstock: Close To Cocoa, Whisper White. Designer Series Paper - Cottage Wall.
Inkpad: Old Olive and Close To Cocoa. Versamark Stamp Pad.
Accessories: Sponge Dauber, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Bone Folder and Dimensionals.
Card Size: 4x4.
