Crazy For Cupcakes...

These cards were just too cute, so I CASED these from someone on SCS. I love the wide grosgrain ribbon, so just had to make these cards in Chocolate Chip and Rose Red to match. These cupcakes were stamped onto cardstock, cut out and stuck with dimensionals onto the Whisper White cardstock. Glossy Accents were added to the flames for a 3d effect and a subtle background of birthday balloons were stamped with the Versamark Stamp Pad.

Stamps:
Crazy For Cupcakes.
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Whisper White. Rose Red, So Saffron, Regal Rose and Whisper White.
Ink Pad:
Basic Black and Versamark Stamp Pad.

Accessories: 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon - Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, SU Marker Pens for the candle flame and cupcake sprinkles and Glossy Accents.
Card Size: A6.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Silver Anniversary

Remember I posted a sneak peek the other week for an Anniversary card? Well it's now safe to upload in full, so here it is below:

I used a variety of SU and non-SU products to make this card. I love the SAB stamp set "Polka Dot Punches" and couldn't resist heat embossing these in gold for some added definition. Very Vanilla cardstock was used in the background with a computer sentiment personalised with the happy couple's names.

Thanks for stopping by.

New Stamps...

After having a little spend up last week with my birthday money, I decided to buy another couple of cute Penny Black stamps. I couldn't resist those hedgehogs so I bought a number of different golf themed images as these are handy for male cards.

Along with some Stampin' Up! cardstock, oval punches and ribbons, and playing around with "Basic Phrases" stamp set, I was able to play on words and create "Fore You". Here's what I created:

Stampin' Up! cardstock, ink and ribbons used are Regal Rose, Night of Navy and Ballet Blue. I love how the debossed side of the Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots closely replicates the surface of a golf ball.

Bye for now,

Alex

Friday again!

Hello people,

It's been another busy week here and the sun is shining :) Thought I'd upload a few more cards that I have been working on from the weekend.

After liking the scallop dresses and getting the hang of how to make these, I made a few more:

After making the Certainly Celery card the other day and uploaded it, I experimented with the oval punches and a sentiment for this one. I'm undecided whether it needs this or not, so made all the other ones without! lol.

Hope you like,

Alex

Christmas Cards.

Hi all,

So, after having a great productive weekend of crafting, I now have a few cards to show you. I recently bought some more Magnolia stamps and Penny Black stamps, so what better way to spend the weekend than to stamp them up and colour them in ;)

Here's some cards made for the Christmas season:

Be back later with more cards...

Crafting Weekend.

Hi all,

Hope all's well with you and you've had a good weekend and perhaps managed to do a bit of crafting.

This week has sure flown by, and I had birthday celebrations too (thank you to all those that left messages of birthday wishes) so it has been a very special week for me. With birthday monies I have had a little splash on some crafting bits and bobs. This weekend I have been crafting away and have made numerous cards with a few new stamps that I have recently purchased - Penny Black and Magnolia stamps that I just couldn't resist.

I shall upload these tomorrow along with the sneak peak of the Wedding Anniversary card I posted a little while ago.

Bye for now,

Alex

Happy Birthday

Hi all,

Just wanted to post the card I've been working on this morning. I've seen so many of these cute dresses online that I decided to have a go myself with a matching bag. I used my trusty Nestabilities to create the scallop circle onto the much loved Certainly Celery Designer Series Paper. At the bottom, using a number of different Stampin' Up! punches, I have created a matching bag.

Hope you like:

Have a great day.

Monday already...

Hi all,

I had a lovely workshop on Saturday morning and the ladies loved the different ways of making a Gift Card Holder to pop a gift card in. In fact, one of my ladies was going to give her lovely card that she had made to her daughter for her birthday!

Now that you've made these gift card holders, once, just replicating the directions along with different colour schemes, papers and stamps allows you to make any themed card. In fact, I can't wait to start making more of these for upcoming events like birthdays and Christmas presents. Watch this space for more gift card holders! lol.

So, I've been playing around with the SAB stamp set "Polka Dot Punches" and white embossing powder and have made a recent wedding card with a blue and white theme. I've used the lovely 1/2" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in Bashful Blue, the wedding themed stamp set "Mr & Mrs" for the sentiment and I've finally christened my Script embossing folder too, only had it for about a year now!

Here's the final card below:

Be back later with another card I'm working on right now :)

Bye for now,
