Hi all,
Had a fabulous day today seeing ladies who love to craft :) Thanks to Betty for allowing me to demonstrate at her craft club.
As a thank you for allowing me to come along, I made Betty a little gift - a box to hold some foiled chocolate eggs inside and an Easter card as her request for today's workshop was for a Spring theme. Below is the gift box I made, which is like the one made for my Christmas Class here, except I used spring-like colours and combined it with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Punch Bunch. The card that I also demoed for the club and gave away will have to wait to be revealed as this will be part of my April Cardmaking Class so sneak peeks will be shown in due course.
Here is the Hostess gift:
Scallop Circle Box - For You (Side View - Lid On)
Scallop Circle Box - For You (Side View - Lid Off)
Stamps: Punch Bunch (SAB 2011).
Cardstock: In Color: Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight and Whisper White. DSP: Sunny Garden.
Inkpad: Daffodil Delight.
Accessories: Scallop Edge Border Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, 1-1/4 Circle Punch, Stampin' Write Marker - Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz, Sponge Dauber, Bone Folder, Window Sheet, Mini Glue Dots, Sticky Strip and 3D dimensionals.
Box Size: 3-5/8" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2".
So, based on the request of Spring, I decided to use Greenhouse Garden stamp set for the Make & Take as it's a favourite of mine and thought the ladies could handle the stamp-a-ma-jig to do the two-step stamping technique.
Here are the cards the ladies made below, in a choice of either Melon Mambo or Pumpkin Pie:
Greenhouse Garden - Melon Mambo with Pretty In Pink
Greenhouse Garden - Pumpkin Pie with Daffodil Delight
Stamps: Greenhouse Garden (P.51) and Oval All (P.64).
Cardstock: Confetti White, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie.
Inkpad: Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight.
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Bone Folder and 3D dimensionals.
Card Size: A6.
Stamp sets used today are as follows:
Greenhouse Garden (P.51):
Oval All (P.64):
Thanks for stopping by. Just six more days left of Sale-A-Bration so be quick with any last minute orders!

Bye for now,
Alex
