All In The Family - Ava.
Morning all,
Hope you've had a good weekend and Monday is off to a good start :)
Just wanted to say that I originally was going to showcase some of the cards from my demo this weekend, but I have decided to showcase them on Thursday now so that my ladies at my Evening Session this Wednesday can make these and will be kept a surprise till then (in case they look at my blog).
So, recently I bought Family Accessories Too to go with my All In The Family stamp set that I haven't inked up enough :( I decided that I'd make a girly/pink/bling birthday card fit for a princess and have made the card to spell her name, Ava. Hope you like.
All In The Family

Stamps: Just Perfect Alphabet and Family Accessories Too.
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Pretty In Pink and Whisper White.
Inkpad: Regal Rose. Versamark Stamp Pad.

Happy 70th birthday!
Hi all,
Happy Sunday everyone :)
Just wanted to upload the 70th male birthday card I sneak peeked the other day as it's Ray's birthday today and by now I hope he would have opened his card from his wife :)
Here's the card in full:

Ray's a huge sports fan, loves his cricket and Dagenham & Redbridge Football (did you notice the football strip), so I made the card using Stampin' Up! cardstock and accessories, with the help of Woodware Clear Stamps for the sports related stamps :) *Must* get myself
"Just Soccer" on P.38 for any cards that I might need to do in the future, football related, and perhaps "Just Tennis" too - both might come in handy and are only £10.95 each set!
By the way, in case you were wondering, the owl from "Forest Friends" was stamped, cut and stuck on the back of the card as I didn't think having the owl stuck on the front with all the cricket bats/balls/footballs etc would go!
This card is pretty big and it wasn't till I finished that I realised it wouldn't fit into a standard sized envelope, let alone an SU envelope! lol. So made one to fit and finished it with stamping, cutting and half sticking down three footballs on the back, so that the envelope flap could tuck underneath the three footballs to close.
Stamps: Forest Friends. Non SU: Clear Woodware - Sports.
Cardstock: Whisper White, 12x12 Textured Cardstock - Ballet Blue and Brilliant Blue.
Inkpad: Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue and Close To Cocoa. Non SU: Memento - Tuxedo Black.
Accessories: 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Real Red, Crop-A-Dile, Jumbo Eyelets - Pewter, Sponge Daubers, Paper Snips, Tombow Multi Purpose Adhesive, Craft Knife, Number Templates, Acryllic Block.
Card Size: Approx w: 9-3/4" x h: 8-1/2".
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

Masculine Cards.
Recently been inspired by Aimes and decided to CASE a card that she made with her PTI goodies. I used Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper, their large star punch and "Basic Phrases" stamp set to create the card along with the ever so popular Kraft cardstock as the base. Here's two colour combos below which I think would make great cards for a male:

Stamps: Basic Phrases.
Cardstock: Kraft, Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White. Patterns Designer Series Paper - Bashful Blue.
Ink Pad: Night of Navy and Real Red.
Accessories: 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon - Night of Navy and Real Red, Large Star Punch. Non-SU: Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
Card Size: A6.
Bye for now,
Alex

Happy Birthday
Hi all,
Just wanted to post the card I've been working on this morning. I've seen so many of these cute dresses online that I decided to have a go myself with a matching bag. I used my trusty Nestabilities to create the scallop circle onto the much loved Certainly Celery Designer Series Paper. At the bottom, using a number of different Stampin' Up! punches, I have created a matching bag.
Hope you like:

Have a great day.

Another Week...
Hi all,
It's another week gone by since my last blog post. It's been a very hectic week this week, so apologies for not being able to do any blogging. I can however, show off my sneak peeks that I posted earlier :)
Remember I mentioned that my Mum's friends son and wife had a baby. Here is the card I sent them:

I also made a matching box so that I could fit in some little socks in, but unfortunately, when I bought the little socks there was so much card/packaging, they were unable to fit and I was short of time, so I couldn't make another box :( I'm sure I'll make a use for this box another time:

Have a good weekend.
