Stampin' Up! Class - Dasher

Hi all,

Today I had my December's Stampin' Up! Class and the last one for this year - wow, doesn't that sound scary! So, seeing as it's December, I had to make it the last Christmas themed Class using the lovely Dasher stamp set along with the Jolly Holiday DSP, the gorgeous Scallop Trim Border Punch and the FREE ribbon that is on promotion for this month for any Christmas Gift-Giving Bundle.

Today's class, the ladies made a Dasher Christmas card and a gift card holder that was inspired and cased from Monica. I tweaked it here and there and added a belly band to close it.

Our Next Workshop...

Interested in coming along to my next Stampin' Up! Workshop?
Have you got a couple of hours to spare this Saturday to join myself and some lovely ladies?

Email me at alexhau@rocketmail.com for more details.

We shall be making a couple of Gift Card Holders. The class will allow you to make two variations of holding inside a Gift Card so that you can give that someone special a personalised touch.

Thank you to Niki for allowing me to CASE her card :)

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Saturday morning

Hi all,

Hope your Saturday has started off well. It's hopefully going to be a lovely weekend and I'm looking forward to doing a bit of crafting later in the sunshine :)

Below is a full upload of an earlier sneak peek - Wedding Gift Card Wallet that I was commissioned for that I can now upload. The products are mostly non-SU but I did use my Stampin' Up! Scallop Edge Border Punch for the bottom edge and Stampin' Emboss Powder in Silver for the sentiment inside.

Bar Mitzvah

Hi all,

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend and having a good Father's Day. Wanted to upload the Bar Mitzvah commission that I had last month as it's safe to do so now. The lady ordered a few different gift card wallets for some upcoming events, so here below is one for a Bar Mitzvah celebration:

These gift card wallets are a great idea to give someone - either to enclose a cheque or to put a gift card in for the recipient.

Commissions

Hi all,

Have been a busy bee lately and have been making various commissions for people. I won't upload pictures of the full cards and boxes in their full glory till I know it's "safe" to do so, so until then, I'll upload some sneak peeks.

Granddaughter Commission

Two ladies - Mother and Daughter commissioned me to make me six invitations, six boxes and one granddaughter card recently on a cupcake theme because their little one just loves to bake in the kitchen.

Here are some sneak peeks of the finished commission, hope you like.

Mazel Tov Commissions
A lady commissioned me to make a number of gift card wallets for lots of upcoming Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs that her and her husband will be attending over the upcoming months. These gift card wallets can be used by slipping off the decorative band, lifting up the flap and inserting a cheque, gift card or anything else that fits in the pocket inside.

Here are some sneak peeks:

That's it for now, hope you've enjoyed the sneak peeks.

Bye for now,

Alex

Busy weekend

Good afternoon all,

Well at last it's the weekend, where I can push my red pens and school books aside and get out my crafting goodies instead :)

Today, I'm going to spend the whole day crafting. I made lots of Christmas cards between October and December. Then for Christmas, I received a fair bit of Stampin' Up! goodies from Santa, but haven't really had much time to play with them all! Here they all are below:

I got lots of SU textured cardstock in all colour families, a few different Christmas stamp sets, Christmas stamp wheels, scissors, dazzling diamonds glitter, stamp-a-ma-jig, write journaler, tag, round tab and scallop edge border punches.

I've been itching to break open the clamshell stamp set cases and ink up the stamp sets. I made a few Thank You cards - see below, the day after Boxing Day.

Recipe:
Stamps:-
A Little Bit of Happiness
(Hostess Level 1 Set) - P.9. This stamp set is not available to buy from the Stampin' Up! catalogue, but is available to choose from if you spend £150 in one transaction/total. This stamp set comprises of four stamps - friend, hello, love and thank you.
Riverting - not available in the UK catalogue yet. This is a Retired Set from the US Catalogue. Perhaps it will appear in the UK catalogue due out later this year.
SU Scallop Edge Border Punch - P.86.

Here's another card I made using the same stamp set and some Bo Bunny decorative papers:

I've also recently experimented (from a post on another crafting site) and made a pop up card to hold a gift card - a popular choice for Christmas presents!

Here is the front of the card. I haven't taken a photo of the inside, but when you open up the card, there is a flap that holds the gift card. I will be making more of these for people's birthdays or for Christmas. Just change the stamp set at the front and the colours and you can make a pop up card for any occasion and for anyone.

Soft Swirls - US Catalogue Retired 2006.
Riverting - US Catalogue (Hostess) Retired 2007.

I hope I've wetted your appetite, off to make some cards now.

See you soon,

Alex
