Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Life is really busy at the moment, and I just haven't found much time for crafting :( I'm really having withdrawal symptons, so I'm glad that I have my Workshop tomorrow so that I can be in the company of my lovely crafting ladies for some chatting and crafting!
A while back I was in a Chinese Cafe/Cake Store and I spotted some cute shaped boxes that they package their cakes in. I couldn't resist, and just had to ask for a box! lol.
Well, here's the box below, it's very similar to the one that Lauren Meader has a template for.
Chinese Cake Box
Even this box without my crafting touch looks lovely - can you spot the side of the box - a picture of a lady at the cafe having lunch? How cute is this!
Anyway, I opened up the box to use as a template and here's my take on the same box:
Cake Box - Vintage Vogue
I'm just loving the En Francais Background stamp and can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. Vintage Vogue is just one of my favourite stamp sets at the moment, so I can't get enough of playing with this :) Hope you like my take on this cake box.
Stamps:
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Rose Red and Whisper White.
Inkpad: Regal Rose and Rose Red.
Accessories: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Paper Snips, Bone Folder and Dimensionals.
Box Size: Approx 4.5" x 5.25" (inc handle) x 4".
Thanks for stopping by.
See you tomorrow to reveal the cards from my Workshop.
Bye for now,
Alex
Love it
