Darling Dots - Birthday Cheer & Wishes.

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekend was a good one and you're looking forward to the start of a new week ahead.

As promised, I have a number of cards to upload here over the next week or so. So here's another card I've recently made below. I'm really enjoying using the Hostess Level 1 stamp set "Darling Dots" and have created another birthday card or two for my collection using the present stamp again :)

Hope you like...

Darling Dots - Birthday Presents

Stamps: Level 1 Hostess: Darling Dots and Cheer & Wishes (sentiment).
Cardstock:
Confetti White (base), Certainly Celery and Whisper White.
Inkpad:
Certainly Celery, Mellow Moss and Always Artichoke.
Accessories: 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon - Certainly Celery, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig and SU Bone Folder.
Card Size:
A6.

After making the card above, I decided that I liked the simple layout so much that I also made a few more in different colour combos seeing as I have a growing collection of different coloured 5/8" Grosgrain ribbons. See the completed set of four cards below:

In each card above, 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon in So Saffron, Regal Rose and Brocade Blue are used. The cardstock for each card are the same colour as the ribbon, and the ink pad colours are the same too, with varying shades of colour. e.g.
  • So Saffron card uses So Saffron ink pad with Barely Banana.
  • Regal Rose card uses Regal Rose ink pad with Pretty In Pink and Rose Red.
  • Brocade Blue card uses Brocade Blue ink pad with Bashful Blue and Ballet Blue.
The card bases for all four cards uses Confetti White cardstock - a new favourite of mine as this is a little thicker than the smooth, thin Whisper White cardstock which is great for a base :)

Bye for now.

Enjoy your day,

Alex
