Just three days left of Sale-A-Bration...

Hi all,

Hope you've been having a good week and looking forward to the weekend :) Just wanted to stop by to say that I'm hoping to put in my Stamper's Club order real soon so that we can all benefit from making the most of gaining FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp sets before the promotion runs out this Monday. If you fancy placing a qualifying order to gain one of four stamp sets for each £45 you spend before p&p, or an order of any amount, please contact me via email or telephone.

Talking of days... I can't believe it's going to be March on Tuesday! This means next weekend is my next Stampin' Up! Class that I'm looking forward to. Sneak peeks will be added to my blog early next week and revealed next Saturday 5 March, so remember to check back.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Bye for now,

Alex

Quilted Card - Birthday.

Hi all,

So, with Half Term upon us and more time to myself, I've been busy crafting :) Recently on SCS, I saw the tutorial for the Quilted Card and thought I'd have a go seeing as it's perfect for all those scraps that you have lying around and secondly my Mum's friend is a quilter and has a birthday this Thursday so perfect timing!

So, using Spring colours and some DSP, here is the quilted card below:

Today's Workshop - Spring Theme.

Hi all,

Had a fabulous day today seeing ladies who love to craft :) Thanks to Betty for allowing me to demonstrate at her craft club.

As a thank you for allowing me to come along, I made Betty a little gift - a box to hold some foiled chocolate eggs inside and an Easter card as her request for today's workshop was for a Spring theme. Below is the gift box I made, which is like the one made for my Christmas Class here, except I used spring-like colours and combined it with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Punch Bunch. The card that I also demoed for the club and gave away will have to wait to be revealed as this will be part of my April Cardmaking Class so sneak peeks will be shown in due course.

Here is the Hostess gift:

Scallop Circle Box - For You (Side View - Lid On)

Stamps: Punch Bunch (SAB 2011).

Box Size: 3-5/8" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2".

So, based on the request of Spring, I decided to use Greenhouse Garden stamp set for the Make & Take as it's a favourite of mine and thought the ladies could handle the stamp-a-ma-jig to do the two-step stamping technique.

Here are the cards the ladies made below, in a choice of either Melon Mambo or Pumpkin Pie:

Greenhouse Garden - Pumpkin Pie with Daffodil Delight

Stampin' Up! Class - Punch Bunch

Afternoon all,

Hope you're enjoying the weekend and are here to see what my ladies made in today's class. We had a great time playing with two of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets that you can earn for each £45 you spend before p&p. I love Punch Bunch, this was the first Sale-A-Bration stamp set I couldn't wait to get! It has an assortment of stamps for most occasions and it co-ordinates with a number of punches so it's handy when making any project as it cuts the time down of having to cut by hand. Did you notice that even the owl stamp will have a matching punch in the Mini Catalogue, due out in a couple of months time? How exciting is that!

So, here are the two cards the ladies made today, both using Punch Bunch stamp set with So Happy For You for one of the sentiments:

Punch Bunch - Suspension Baby Card

I originally took the idea of the card layout from Beth, and from here, created a suspension card. The punched images suspended in the top right hand corner are a babygro on one side and baby booties on the other side. As you turn the circles you'll see the two different images. Hope the pictures capture the effect.

Stamps: Punch Bunch (Sale-A-Bration 2011) and Bundle of Love.
Cardstock: Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo and Whisper White.
Inkpad:
Melon Mambo and Pretty In Pink. Versamark Stamp Pad.
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, 1-1/4 Circle Punch, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, Small Tag Punch, Tag Punch, 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Pretty In Pink, Sponge Dauber, Embossing Buddy, Stampin' Emboss - White, Heat Tool, Bone Folder, Paper Snips and 3D dimensionals.
Non SU:
Dental Floss.
Card Size: A6.

Punch Bunch - For You Card

Stamps: Punch Bunch and So Happy For You (Sale-A-Bration 2011).
Cardstock: In Color: Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White. DSP - In Color - Poppy Parade.
Inkpad:
In Color: Poppy Parade.
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8 Circle Punch, 1-1/4 Circle Punch, Modern Label Extra-Large Punch, In Color: 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon: Pear Pizzazz, Stampin' Marker Pen - In Color - Pear Pizzazz and Poppy Parade, Bone Folder, Paper Snips and 3D dimensionals.
Card Size:
A6.

Here are the two cards made in today's class side by side:

Hope you liked the cards. If you fancy placing an order with me to benefit from free stamp sets for a qualifying Sale-A-Bration order, please drop me an email.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
