Saturday here..

Hi all,

Well, what a cold day it has been. After postponing my workshop till next Saturday, I decided to do a bit of crafting seeing as I had all the craft stuff out. Have made a few samples of a Baby Shower card today - which I won't be able to reveal till after they've all been made/sent out/received by all.

I can however, show you a recent birthday card I made for my Mum's friend, Audrey who is celebrating her birthday today :)

I really love A Rose Is A Rose stamp set, and like the previous ones I've made, I've based it more or less the same, just used the fabulous Eyelet Border Punch instead of the Scallop Edge Punch and used different "Old Olive" Designer Series Paper to create the below card:

A Rose Is A Rose

Stamps: A Rose Is A Rose.
Barely Banana, So Saffron, Old Olive and Whisper White. Patterns Designers Series Paper - Old Olive.
Ink Pads: So Saffron, Barely Banana, Old Olive and Certainly Celery.

Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Grosgrain Ribbon - Old Olive, Bone Folder. Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Swiss Dots.
Card Size: A5.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Love this stamp set too after seeing it at one of your workshops. It never fails to look impressive. Lovely card.

  2. Alex, I love this card, fabulous colours. One of my favourite stamps. Hope the snow isn't causing too many problems for you.

  3. Beautiful card Alex - you did a great job with that rose stamp, I played with it once and made a right old mess with it!!
