Today is a special lady's birthday, so I decided to make her a Tri Shutter Card. I really had fun making this and once you know where the folds go, it's pretty easy and looks effective.

Wednesday already...

Hi all,

Hope you're all having a good week and the weather is a little brighter where you are. Feels like summer has definitely disappeared here :(

Just wanted to post that all is well this end and I've finally got my hands on some new Stampin' Up! goodies - some from the new Idea Book & Catalogue which is available to order from 1 October onwards.

Have been busy recently with non-craft relating things, so I'm looking forward to actually spending some time crafting with my new goodies which includes lots of new colours stacked up in my new Colour Caddy!!! :)

Hope to be back soon with new projects to show off... although you'll have to wait till Friday 1 October I'm afraid for sneak peeks of new stamp sets and accessories from the new Catalogue as we can't reveal until then.

Ruby Anniversary

Hi all,

Recently been asked to make a Ruby Anniversary card and decided to use the Speciality Papers (now SOLD OUT) again as these are just so gorgeous! I really like the quality of these foil cardstock papers and decided it was fitting to use these with Ruby Red cardstock for a Ruby Anniversary card :) The Ruby Red Satin Ribbon was acheived by brayering Stampin' Up! White Satin Ribbon with Ruby Red ink pad with the brayer :) I really like the effect that you can create ribbon in any one of the 48+ colours from the numerous ink pads Stampin' Up! sell.

Stampin' Up! Class - 4 September 2010.

Hi all,

Hope you're all having a good weekend :) Just wanted to say that my ladies and I had another fab class today and they were in for a treat. As you know, having customers who share my love and passion for cardmaking is important to me, they're a great group of ladies and we always have so much fun.

To say a big thank you to them for being such good customers and friends, I decided to host a special class. As you may well know, I hold a monthly Stamper's Club where orders are collected and each month someone is Hostess and reap the benefits. Unfortunately, to date, no-one has managed to earn a Level 3 Stamp Set that is much adored and sought after - "Queue Up". This stamp set is just so adorable and as a Demonstrator, at the beginning of the Stampin' Up! year I had the opportunity to purchase it :) I'm so pleased I did. I probably haven't used it all that much actually, but I do like it lots!

Anyway, enough of my waffling, todays class was all about "Queue Up" and my ladies were able to get their hands and play with this stamp set to create the following cards below, which was cased and inspired from the current Idea Book & Catalogue, P.13.

Get Well Wishes

Recently made a Get Well Card for a special someone as it's one occasion, that I rarely have to hand, so below is the card I made using "Fun & Fast Notes" stamp set. I used a mix of two different stamps so that I could mix and match and choose one image and a sentiment of my choice.

Golden Wedding Anniversary

Hi all,

Just wanted to upload a new Wedding Anniversary card I was commissioned for recently. As it was their Golden wedding anniversary, I wanted to use gold cardstock, so have used non-SU for the base, matting of the sentiment and heart. The ribbon was bought in Singapore earlier this year, which I love as it's appropriate for most Wedding Anniversary cards and the colours suit this card especially seeing as I made it in gold and Very Vanilla. The large Very Vanilla heart has been covered with Versamark Dazzle so that in the right angle/light it shimmers like a pearlescent effect. *Note to self:* Must try out my new Shimmer Paint which will give it the same effect - Shimmer Paint mixed with Isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle to use like a Shimmer Mist.
