Baby Sneak Peeks

Hi all,

Well where has the week gone to? I don't know where, but it's now Friday again.

Recently had good news that my Mum's good friend's son and his wife have recently had a baby boy, so thought I'd make a card and a box to hold a little something for the new baby :)

Here are a few sneak peeks until I know it's safe to do so.

Another month, another workshop!

Hi all,

Not only where does the time go, but where does a month go?!? It's that time again when I host my next Stampin' Up! Workshop :)

Tomorrow I shall be doing a Wheel Workshop and will be creating three beautiful cards using different wheel stamps. I originally thought of this idea last month and wanted to do a Wheel Workshop so I decided to host a Wheel Card Swap on ILWS to get some ideas.

Below are the cards we will be making tomorrow:

The middle Barely Banana card was inspired and CASED from Jeannette, thank you for such a lovely Wheel Swap Card :) This card was so beautiful I decided to use this one and change small details such as the colour and ribbon. The last card was inspired and CASED from Sarah-Jane, another Wheel Swap Card. This time, I've changed the DSP, colour and other little bits and bobs and created the above, which I'm really happy with.

It's wonderful to be able to share ideas and be inspired from such wonderful talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators.

Bye for now,

Alex

Friday Already!

Hi all,

What a busy week it's been. I've been organising a Wheel Card Swap over on ILWS and just loved everyone's creations. Below is the one I made using a baby theme:

Baby Boy Card

I made eight of these, and forgot to take a picture of all these cards on mass. Here's the one and only photo I have of it to show what it looks like from the front. When you open the card, you see the round sentiment inside in the top right hand corner.

Stamps: Jumbo Wheel - "Nursery Letters" and Hostess Level 2 Stamp Set "Cause For Celebration".
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue.
Ink Pad:
Bashful Blue.

Accessories: Crop-A-Dile, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch. Gingham Ribbon - Light Blue.

Thanks for stopping by.

Non-Stamping Wedding Card

Hi all,

Hope you're well and having a good week so far.

Anyway, after making a waterfall card for the first time the other day and enjoying the process of making one using my Christmas stamps, I decided to try out another one but use my Wedding Cuttlebug embossing folders instead.

This is mainly a non-SU card, apart from using the Round Tab Punch, Ribbon and Very Vanilla Cardstock.

Hope you like:
