Passion For Promarkers Challenge

Hi all,

Hope you're well and having a good week so far. I recently christened some of my cute Magnolia stamps that I bought *cough* back in December, and thought I'd use my Promarkers and give them a go with these cards.

I made two cards recently, in two different colour combos for a couple of friends and thought I'd post them now that it's safe to do so :) Thank you Aimes for suggesting I enter the first one in the Passion For Promarkers Challenge - Week 14 - A Passion For Purple, good idea!

I really enjoyed using this new stamp of mine and can't wait to stamp and colour more in the near future. Hope you like:

Sunday ramblings

Hi all,

Hope you've all been having a lovely weekend, it certainly was warm here - the sun was just shining all weekend long :)

Anyway, have been busy making a few cards and boxes and thought I'd share. Remember I made a paper piecing card using Crazy For Cupcakes stamp set the other week? Well, I've made a matching box that I'm really pleased with. Here's the complete combo, hope you like:

Another Week...

Hi all,

It's another week gone by since my last blog post. It's been a very hectic week this week, so apologies for not being able to do any blogging. I can however, show off my sneak peeks that I posted earlier :)

Remember I mentioned that my Mum's friends son and wife had a baby. Here is the card I sent them:

I also made a matching box so that I could fit in some little socks in, but unfortunately, when I bought the little socks there was so much card/packaging, they were unable to fit and I was short of time, so I couldn't make another box :( I'm sure I'll make a use for this box another time:

Have a good weekend.

Flaky Friends...

Hi all,

Well what a lovely day it has been. Went to a Macmillan event and the sun just shone all day. I finally completed my Flaky Friends Accordian Card Organiser Box and made five Christmas cards to go inside to bring with me as a raffle prize. You never guess who ended up taking home my box..... My Mum! lol. She liked the box and cards so much and knew how much work went into it, that she couldn't bare seeing it go to someone else, so she chose my gift amongst the other prizes. I don't know, what is she like!

Anyway, here are all the cards I made to go inside the box:

These were all made with Stampin' Up! goodies - cardstock, stamp set, inkpad, Stampin' Write pens, ribbons, embossing powder and punches. Non-SU goodies used were the May Arts red and white dotted ribbon and the green twine.

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend.

Accordian Card Organiser Box

Hi all,

Well this week is turning into another beautiful day, weather wise. After making a Christmas card yesterday for the Stamp With Us Challenge, I was in the mood for some more festive themed goodies, so I decided to follow a tutorial and create my own accordian card organiser box to hold my Christmas cards in.

As a first attempt, I'm really pleased with how this turned out :) I'm due to go to a Macmillian Coffee Morning at the end of the week, so I plan to make another one of these with about five matching cards and envelopes as my gift.

Hope you like it, I've used the retired stamp set "Flaky Friends" which I think are adorable :)

Baby Sneak Peeks

Hi all,

Well where has the week gone to? I don't know where, but it's now Friday again.

Recently had good news that my Mum's good friend's son and his wife have recently had a baby boy, so thought I'd make a card and a box to hold a little something for the new baby :)

Here are a few sneak peeks until I know it's safe to do so.
