My Sweet Pea Workshop

Hi all,

Hope you're having a good weekend so far :) The ladies have been and gone and we had a lovely workshop making two cards using the My Sweet Pea stamp set. This little stamp set is from the Mini Catalogue, P. 12 and features five little stamps that co-ordinates lovely with a wheel, 12x12 paper stack of 48 double-sided designs and stitched felt embellishments.

Here are the two cards made in today's Workshop:

Sweet Pea Card 1 (Outside)

This card was inspired from the card we made at Reading back in March. This card is a gatefold card, with the 3rd flowers on both panels punched in the middle with the 3/4" circle punch so that Old Olive satin ribbon can be slipped through the punched circles and gathered into a bow at the front.

Stamps: My Sweet Pea, Sweet Stitches (wheel).
Cardstock: Rose Red and Whisper White.
Inkpad:
Rose Red, Old Olive and So Saffron.
Accessories: 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Old Olive, 3/4" Circle Punch, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Paper Snips and Bone Folder.
Card Size:
A6.

Sweet Pea Card 1 (Inside)

Here's the inside of the card - the Whisper White card insert has the Sweet Stitches wheel in Old Olive at the top and bottom of the cardstock. Old Olive satin ribbon is placed through the two 3/4" punched circles and laid flat so that the inked cardstock insert can be stuck over the satin ribbon to keep the ribbon in place.

The second card we made:

My Sweet Pea Card

This card above was a CASE from the one made at Reading. The colours have been substituted with colours of my choice :)

Stamps: My Sweet Pea and Basic Phrases (sentiment).
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Cameo Coral, Sage Shadow, So Saffron and Whisper White.
Inkpad:
Chocolate Chip and So Saffron.
Accessories: 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Chocolate Chip, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Stampin' Write Marker - Sage Shadow, Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, Paper Snips, Bone Folder and Dimensionals.
Card Size:
A6.

Here's the two cards from today's workshop:

Hope you've enjoyed seeing these cards in full.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

Bye for now,

Alex
